So, as I wrote this post, I realized that I probably need to find a wider variety of where I shop, ha. But when I am given gift cards during Christmas, it doesn't really matter what store it's for, I won't complain. This top was my latest purchase and I have to say, it's my new favorite! And I've been dying to break out this great pin. Because you know, the only thing better than wearing glasses on your face is wearing it on your shirt :P
I've been thinking a lot about this blog lately. Confession time: I started writing this post last week and just gave up in the middle of it. I honestly wasn't sure what to write, not thinking that anything I could say would be of interest to anyone. But this weekend I came across this post from A Beautiful Mess. Inspiration is something I've been thinking a lot about recently. The past year or so I've felt myself getting really inspired via all the blogs I follow. It's what inspired me to pursue new interests and learn new skills. Eventually that led to starting this blog. I chose to do a fashion blog partly because clothing and dressing uniquely are interests of mine, but also because I felt that that was the only thing that I could feasibly offer to others. But even that itself is a challenge sometimes. I've also got so many other things going on in my personal life that I have trouble focusing and planning for the blog in order to keep up with it regularly.
There have been multiple times when I've just felt like giving up on the blog. But when reading this post on living an inspired life, I realized that hey, if blogging is something I really want to do, then I should just keep doing it! I may not be a great blogger (I'm not), but really the only way to get better at it is to keep blogging. Hopefully as time continues I'll be able to write better, organize myself more, and come up with new content. So Dreaming of Dinosaurs may be a little rough around the edges right now, but with time and patience I think it can definitely grow into something more.
Thank you all for reading and taking this journey with me :)
