Dress: Macy's | Shoes: Zappos | Hair bow: Kohl's | Purse & Watch: Borrowed from Mom
Hello my lovely Dinosaurs!
As we await the arrival of my wedding pictures, I will help tide you over with a quick little outfit post from the day before the wedding, at the rehearsal dinner! I found this dress at the start of summer and had been dying to finally wear it on this evening! I have pretty much never had an occasion where I got to get this fancy, so I was looking forward to this little opportunity! And for such a wonderful occasion! ;)
The rehearsal day was such a great kick-off to the whole wedding weekend. We had the ceremony rehearsal in the morning, due to our officiant's schedule. I was quite rattled that morning, butterflies in my stomach, and shakiness all over my body. But after arriving to our venue, seeing CJ and all of our family, I was just filled with excitement! The rehearsal was quick and went well, and afterwards I was finally calm after these months of planning and the stressful summer leading up to the wedding weekend. I felt so much more at ease and ready to actually enjoy my soon to be wedding!
That evening everyone got together again - with even more family! - at Cantina D'Italia for the rehearsal dinner. It was a fun night of smiles, cell phone pics, and food! It was a lot of fun to see a lot of CJ's family and chat with everyone before the big day. CJ's sister Carly also made us a little slideshow, full of cute and embarrassing photos of the two of us from baby to present!
Afterwards, me and my Maid of Honor Heather got set up in our hotel room for the night and got everything ready for the following day. Needless to say, I had so much trouble falling asleep that night!
I can't wait to share stories of the wedding with you! So stay tuned!
Thanks for reading!
