Wedding of Awesome: The Ceremony

Hey Dinosaurs! It's the moment we've all been waiting for! (or maybe just me, ha!). This week I'll be sharing all things wedding! I've received my images from the amazing Lauryn Galloway Photography, and we are so thrilled with them! It's been so nice to look through them and reminisce about our special day. And now I am so ready to share our day with all my Dinos!

So this week I'll be sharing pictures from various parts of the day. Then next week, I'll share a couple wedding DIYs that I used in planning the wedding. I hope you're as excited as I am!

To start us off, here's the start of the day getting ready, and our special ceremony!

I am absolutely in love with this dress. I've always been obsessed with tulle and this one is completely covered in tiny polka dots! It's absolutely perfect!

A Pokémon wedding is not complete without a Pokéball garter! ;)

CJ's sisters, Katie and Carly, did the honor of doing two readings for us during the ceremony. It was so nice of them!

I naturally had a little trouble getting through my vows... :')

We're married!!

It was such a sweet little ceremony! I was so thankful for the help of my grandparents and father, who helped decorate the space. My favorite part was the tulle backdrop we made the week before. Did I mention I love tulle?

Another unique touch was the music used for the processional. Our harpist, Kristin, was so kind to comply with my crazy requests. I managed to find the sheet music for two songs that I just love!

For the processional of our family and bridal party, I used a cute French love song, Comme des Enfants by Coeur de Pirate:

And for my processional song, I had to use my most favorite song ever to be found in a video game, Suteki da ne from Final Fantasy X:

These songs are beautiful on their own, but the sounded even more beautiful on the harp! We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out! Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Stay tuned the rest of the week for more wedding coverage! Thanks for reading Dinos!
