Hello Dinosaurs! Today I'm sharing some shots from the second half of our wedding day, the reception!
After the ceremony and pictures were over, it was time to just enjoy the evening with a delicious dinner and spend time with all of our friends and family! It was such a fun night that we will always treasure!
Before entering the reception, we had framed a series little Gameboys as escort cards, directing each guest to their table. Next to that our beautiful wishing tree was displayed where guests could leave us messages!
Inside the reception hall, manzanita trees covered in origami flowers adorned the tables. Each table was named after a city or town from throughout the world of Pokémon. At each place setting was a personal hand fan adorned with cherry blossoms and a little treat box to commemorate the day! Our cake was a delicious masterpiece of red velvet and funfetti, adorned with our two favorite Pokémon!
We did our first dance to "Love Song" by 311.
My brother did us the favor of emceeing the reception. There was honestly no one better to do it!
Logan and Heather, our Best Man and Maid of Honor, gave two super sweet toasts for us that left us laughing and almost crying (at least for Heather ;) ). We were so happy to have our long-term childhood friends by our side!
